Transaction Overview

Stormfield funded a $375,000 bridge loan allowing a real estate investor to recoup equity held in a single-family investment property on more than 15 acres in North Salem, New York. The financing gives the owner access to capital while keeping a substantial estate-style asset. The loan is structured at approximately 10.9% LTV, a very low level of leverage. Underwriting focused on collateral value and the property’s acreage, with the large equity cushion providing significant downside protection. The transaction illustrates Stormfield’s conservative, collateral-first approach to residential bridge lending on large-acreage single-family collateral.
