Transaction Overview

Stormfield Capital funded a $405,654 ground-up construction loan for a repeat Stormfield borrower building a multifamily property in East Orange, New Jersey, on a free-and-clear lot owned outright. The 12-month facility was structured at approximately 43% LTV against a $944,500 underwritten value, reflecting a highly conservative leverage position for the project. The borrower’s history with Stormfield and already-secured approvals helped offset typical ground-up construction risk associated with the build. The low-leverage structure and sponsor’s track record supported a lending decision consistent with Stormfield’s disciplined approach to new construction financing for repeat, established clients.
