Transaction Overview

Stormfield funded a $354,250 purchase loan for an experienced real estate investor acquiring a residential apartment unit in Brooklyn, New York. The financing covers a majority of the purchase price, allowing the investor to add the unit to an existing portfolio while preserving capital for other opportunities. The loan is structured at 60% LTV, leaving a solid equity cushion beneath Stormfield’s position. Underwriting focused on collateral value and Brooklyn’s residential demand, with conservative leverage and the sponsor’s ownership experience supporting the structure. The deal reflects Stormfield’s disciplined approach to hard money acquisition lending on urban residential collateral.
