Transaction Overview

Stormfield funded a $420,000 refinance-and-rehab loan for an experienced investor completing renovations on a two-unit multifamily property in Copake, NY. The twelve-month facility was structured at approximately 61% of underwritten value, allowing the sponsor to recoup equity while finishing rehab ahead of a planned sale. The loan structure reflects Stormfield’s disciplined approach to sizing leverage against underwritten value, giving the sponsor room to complete the remaining renovation scope while preserving a clear path to repayment through the planned disposition. The moderate leverage and clear repayment plan made this deal a strong fit for Stormfield’s investor-focused underwriting approach.
