Transaction Overview

Stormfield funded a $2.8 million purchase-money bridge loan on a mixed-use property in downtown Brooklyn, NY, sourced through an existing mortgage broker relationship. The six-month facility gave the sponsor certainty of execution to close on the acquisition, structured at approximately 63% LTV to preserve a conservative capital cushion. The loan reflects Stormfield’s ability to move quickly on a well-priced acquisition opportunity in a competitive urban market, without extending leverage beyond a disciplined threshold. This conservative structure and straightforward purchase-money financing made the deal a strong fit for Stormfield’s investor-focused underwriting approach.
