Transaction Overview

Stormfield Capital funded a $685,000 fix and flip loan to complete the interior buildout of a single-family property in Jersey City, New Jersey, purchased out of foreclosure. The 12-month facility was structured at approximately 44% LTV against a $1,560,000 underwritten value, reflecting a conservative, free-and-clear collateral position on the asset. The borrower’s real estate experience and the low-leverage structure helped offset execution risk on the remaining scope of interior work. The disciplined sizing and strong equity cushion, combined with Stormfield’s ability to fund completion of an already-underway project, supported a lending decision consistent with a prudent approach.
