Wesley Carpenter is a Co-Founder and Partner of Stormfield Capital. He leads the firm’s investment strategy and portfolio management, serves on both the management and investment committees, and plays a central role in credit and risk oversight across the platform. Under his leadership, Stormfield has deployed over $2 billion, spanning the origination, acquisition, and asset management of commercial and residential bridge loans.
Wes brings more than 15 years of experience in real estate credit and structured finance. Prior to founding Stormfield, he served as a Vice President at Greenwich Associates, a boutique financial services consultancy, where he advised senior executives at commercial and investment banks on balance sheet optimization and the adoption of structured credit strategies. He began his career in Corporate Development at Illinois Tool Works (NYSE: ITW), focusing on mergers and acquisitions and strategic growth initiatives across the firm’s global industrial portfolio.
He holds a B.S. from Fairfield University and an M.B.A. from Binghamton University.
Timothy Jackson is a Co-Founder and Partner of Stormfield Capital. He oversees the firm’s financial and capital markets operations and serves on both the management and investment committees. Prior to Stormfield, Tim was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Gapstow Capital Partners, a $1 billion asset manager focused on credit and fixed income investments. While at Gapstow, Tim oversaw investments in real estate debt, including commercial real estate bridge loans, distressed commercial and residential loans, and securitized assets such as CMBS, RMBS, and ABS CDOs. Prior to joining Gapstow, Tim was a Principal at Barclays Global Investors, where he managed an institutional hedge fund-of-funds portfolio. Previously, he served as a Partner at Rocaton Investment Advisors, a $350 billion institutional investment consultant, where he co-led the firm’s alternative research department. He began his finance career at the Northern Trust Company after serving as a Merchant Marine Officer and Lieutenant in the United States Navy Reserve. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Western Connecticut State University, teaching courses in derivatives and investments, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, a B.S. in Nautical Science from Maine Maritime Academy, and an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut. Tim serves on the Board of Trustees and Investment Committee of the Frederick Gunn School, a co-ed boarding and day school located in Washington, Connecticut.
Debra Dorin is the Chief Operating Officer of Stormfield Capital. Prior to Stormfield, she served as Loan Servicing and Data Quality Control at Bankwell, administering day-to-day operations and playing a key role in a bank-wide system conversion. Prior to Bankwell, she spent 10 years at Apollo Global Management, where, as Director of Finance Shared Services, she established and managed a global servicing platform encompassing treasury operations, expense management, accounts payable and accounts receivable. She began her career at GE Capital where, over 18 years, she led multiple system developments and implementations, managed acquisition integrations, and oversaw the administration of a $13 billion portfolio of commercial loans, leases, and equity investments. She is recognized for implementing quality process improvement initiatives that drive cost savings and create scale within lean teams. She holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Pace University.
Kelly Wallace is the Chief Financial Officer of Stormfield Capital. Prior to Stormfield, she served as a Director of Client Service at Gen II Fund Services, a provider of fund administration services to private fund sponsors and investors worldwide. At Gen II, she oversaw financial statement reporting and day-to-day operations for the U.S.-based private equity investments of a large global asset manager. Prior to Gen II, Kelly spent 14 years as a Senior Fund Operations Manager on the Alternatives Private Equity team at Aberdeen Standard Investments and FLAG Capital Management, LLC, prior to its acquisition by Aberdeen Standard Investments. During her time with Aberdeen and FLAG, Kelly provided accounting, reporting and operational support to over $8 billion of private equity, venture capital and real assets fund-of-funds. She began her career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen, where she earned her CPA designation. She holds a B.S.B.A. in Accounting from Bucknell University.
Matthew Fiscella is the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer of Stormfield Capital. Most recently, he served as a Compliance Consultant for the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC). Prior to the OCC, he served as Vice President of Compliance at Silvercrest Asset Management Group. Over a 19-year tenure at Silvercrest, he spent 13 years as a Compliance Officer, where he was responsible for the preparation and review of regulatory filings, administering the Code of Conduct and Ethics, implementing internal policies, and performing systematic exams of the cybersecurity, business continuity, employee trading, and risk assessment programs. Prior to Silvercrest, he spent six years at Credit Suisse Asset Management (formerly Warburg Pincus Asset Management) in the Operations and Post Venture Capital departments. He holds a B.S. from the University of Miami.
Kyle Shea is a Vice President at Stormfield Capital, where he oversees the firm’s commercial lending activities. Kyle focuses on originating and structuring loans ranging from $1 million to $30 million and works closely with borrowers, brokers, and co-lenders to create customized lending solutions tailored to a wide range of commercial real estate needs.
He brings more than nine years of experience in real estate credit. He is well-versed in both conventional and complex financing structures, including condo inventory loans, quick-close acquisitions, distressed debt resolutions, and value-add strategies secured by both residentially and commercially anchored assets.
Kyle is an ongoing participant in Stormfield’s Investment Committee meetings and supports the management of the Investment Team. He holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Connecticut and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), reflecting his dedication to industry knowledge and high standards of professional conduct.
Daniel Heetmann is an Associate Vice President at Stormfield Capital, where he leads the firm’s Residential Transition Lending (RTL) program. Since joining in 2020, he has played a central role in shaping the program’s structure, due diligence processes, and overall go-to-market approach.
He brings a strong focus on credit quality, operational efficiency, and customer experience, and is currently leading the development of an online platform focused on streamlining the path from loan submission to closing for Stormfield’s growing network of borrowers and mortgage brokers.
Prior to Stormfield, he participated in a rotational program at Newtown Savings Bank covering commercial lending, loan servicing, and marketing. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Western Connecticut State University.
James Weissenborn is an Associate Vice President at Stormfield Capital, where he focuses on the origination and underwriting of bridge and investment property loans and supports portfolio management and analysis. Prior to Stormfield, he served as a Corporate Finance Associate at SEI Investments, where he automated financial statements and analyzed billable assets for the firm’s sub-advisors. He holds a B.S. in Economics from Bucknell University and an M.S. in Real Estate Finance from Saint Joseph’s University.
Callahan Healy is a Senior Associate at Stormfield Capital, focused on sourcing, underwriting, and structuring bridge and investment property loans. Prior to Stormfield, he participated in a real estate field experience program at Longpoint Realty Partners and previously served as an Investment Analyst Intern at JFH Capital. He holds a B.B.A. in Real Estate, with minors in Business Law and Finance, from Villanova University.
Christian Gavrielidis is a Senior Associate at Stormfield Capital, focused on sourcing, underwriting, and structuring bridge and investment property loans. Prior to Stormfield, he served as an Analyst Intern at Founder Legacy Partners, where he researched, evaluated, and presented tech-focused private investment opportunities, and previously as an Analyst Intern at Vista Highland. He holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting, with a minor in Politics, from Fairfield University, where he received the Dolan School of Business Academic Achievement Award and top honors in both Finance and Accounting.
Max Antoniou is an Associate at Stormfield Capital, focused on sourcing, underwriting, and structuring bridge and investment property loans. Prior to Stormfield, he served as a Transactions Summer Analyst at Harrison Street Real Estate Capital in Chicago, where he analyzed and presented acquisition opportunities across niche sectors including medical office, senior living, and data centers. Riley Gousse is an Associate at Stormfield Capital, focused on sourcing, underwriting, and structuring bridge and investment property loans. Prior to Stormfield, he served as a Corporate Real Estate Analyst at Wells Fargo, participating in a rotational program covering transactions, construction management, and property management across office, retail, and data center sectors. Previously, he served as an Acquisitions Intern at MIOYM Commercial Capital, specializing in single-family distressed assets. He holds a B.A. in Economics, with a minor in Real Estate, from Bucknell University, where he was inducted into Omicron Delta Epsilon, an international academic honor society in economics.
Ayisha Khan is an Associate, Senior Loan Processor at Stormfield Capital. Prior to Stormfield, she served as a Residential Loan Processor at The First Bank of Greenwich, where she managed a pipeline of residential mortgage loans. In that role, she guided clients through every stage of the loan process – from initial application to final disbursement – while analyzing credit profiles, evaluating debt-to-income ratios, and ensuring loan eligibility. She also played a key role in generating and reviewing closing documents to support timely, accurate closings. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Management from the University of Connecticut.
Tegan Warren is a Senior Associate, Investor Relations and Marketing, at Stormfield Capital, where she manages investor inquiries and supports capital formation. Prior to Stormfield, she served as a Project Manager at Guidepoint Client Services, managing primary research requests for clients at leading institutional investment firms. She holds a B.S. in Sociology and Economics from Bucknell University, where she competed on the Varsity Women’s Lacrosse team and represented the Welsh Women’s Lacrosse National Team for three years.
Alexander DaPra is an Associate Vice President, Fund Accountant at Stormfield Capital, supporting fund accounting and financial reporting. Prior to Stormfield, he served as an Experienced Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he planned and conducted quarterly reviews and year-end audits of large SEC registrants and alternative investment firms. He holds a B.S. in Accountancy from Bentley University and an M.S.A. from Fairfield University.
Eva Figlarova is a Senior Associate, Fund Accountant at Stormfield Capital. Prior to Stormfield, she served as a Lead Analyst at Bank of New York (BNY). There, she led a lift-out project supporting the outsourcing of Bridgewater’s middle and back-office functions to BNY, driving the institutionalization of the converted platform. Following the lift-out, she oversaw the day-to-day operations of the accounting and administration team servicing Bridgewater Associates. She began her career at The First National Bank of Long Island. She serves on the Board of Directors of the National Charity League and holds a master’s degree in Economics and Marketing from the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Kimberly West is an Associate at Stormfield Capital, where she manages wire transactions, reviews legal documentation, and oversees real estate transaction disbursements, collaborating across teams to ensure the accurate and timely processing of loan and legal documentation. Prior to Stormfield, she served at United Healthcare Group, where she managed customer payments, significantly reduced unapplied cash, and improved operational efficiency by automating key cash application workflows. She holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Virginia Union University.
Joseph Raya is an Associate Vice President at Stormfield Capital, where he oversees special assets, including non-performing loans and real estate owned. Prior to Stormfield, he served as AVP Credit Officer at DR Bank, a Connecticut state-chartered bank, where he underwrote commercial loan requests. Prior to DR Bank, he spent seven years at Savings Bank of Danbury, most notably within the Commercial Credit Department, underwriting commercial loan requests and facilitating troubled debt and workout loans. He began his career at Savings Bank of Danbury, progressing through roles in Retail, Compliance, Deposit Operations, and Electronic Banking before advancing to Commercial Credit Analyst. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Western Connecticut State University.
Matt Gregory is an Associate, Special Servicing at Stormfield Capital. Prior to Stormfield, he served as a Financial Reporting Associate at Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management division, where he led internal and external financial reporting and data analytics on capital flows, assets under management, expenses, and revenues. He began his career in financial services at Savings Bank of Danbury and holds a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from Sacred Heart University.
Laura Bonistalli is an Associate Vice President, Loan Servicing at Stormfield Capital, where she oversees loan servicing operations. Prior to Stormfield, she served as Mortgage Operations Specialist at Putnam County National Bank, managing a robust pipeline of commercial and residential loans. Prior to that, she served as a Closer at Freedom Mortgage, finalizing documents and facilitating timely settlements for wholesale correspondent loans. She began her career at PCSB Bank where, over 13 years, she developed deep expertise in loan administration, progressing from Bank Teller to Commercial Loan Closer. She holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Financial Management from Western Connecticut State University.
Vivian Barriga is a Loan Servicing Associate at Stormfield Capital. Prior to Stormfield, she served as an Analyst at Guidehouse, where she gained experience with 7(a) Small Business Administration (SBA) loans, ensuring precision and adherence to federal regulations. Prior to Guidehouse, she served as an Eligibility Specialist at TF Cornerstone, conducting due diligence on applicants for affordable housing programs. Victoria Sobeski is a Loan Servicing Associate at Stormfield Capital. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a Residential Loan Underwriter at The First Bank of Greenwich, where she analyzed clients’ credit profiles to determine loan eligibility and managed the processing, underwriting, and disbursement of loan funds. Prior to that, she served as Consumer Credit Administrator, coordinating with clients to gather closing requirements and working alongside compliance and legal teams to ensure files met applicable regulations. Patrick Murphy is a Loan Servicing Associate at Stormfield Capital. Prior to Stormfield, he served as an Asset Management Analyst at Lendmarq, where he oversaw servicing operations and portfolio monitoring. In that role, he managed cash flow analysis for distressed and non-performing loan portfolios, implemented recovery strategies and workouts, supervised new loan onboarding, and facilitated borrower requests including draws, payoffs, and extensions.
