Transaction Overview

Stormfield Capital funded a $2,350,000 bridge loan to refinance a single-family property and retire existing merchant cash advance debt in Riverside, Connecticut, ahead of a planned sale. The 18-month facility was structured with conservative sizing on a well-collateralized, higher-value asset. The loan’s prepaid interest reserve and clear sale-driven exit strategy helped offset typical bridge-to-sale execution risk for this transaction. The disciplined leverage and clearly defined exit plan supported a lending decision consistent with Stormfield’s conservative approach to short-term refinance financing ahead of an anticipated property sale.
