Transaction Overview

Stormfield funded a $2,000,000 hard money fix and flip loan for a real estate investor to recoup equity and complete construction of a free-and-clear luxury spec home in Westport, Connecticut. The structure includes a $350,000 construction holdback that funds the remaining work as it is completed. The loan is structured at approximately 69.9% LTV over a 24-month term. Underwriting weighed the remaining scope and Westport’s luxury resale market, with the unencumbered starting position and the controlled holdback supporting the plan. The deal shows how Stormfield pairs equity recapture with completion funding to help investors finish and sell high-end projects.
