Transaction Overview

Stormfield Capital funded a $350,000 cash-out bridge loan secured by a free-and-clear commercial building in New Canaan, Connecticut. The 12-month facility allowed the borrower to access equity in the fully-owned, vacant asset for other purposes. The loan was structured with a highly conservative leverage position relative to the property’s underlying value overall. The substantial equity cushion and free-and-clear collateral helped offset the execution risk associated with the property’s vacant status, while Stormfield’s ability to move quickly supported the transaction. The disciplined sizing reflects a conservative approach to well-collateralized commercial cash-out financing for this borrower.
