Transaction Overview

Stormfield Capital funded a $1,837,500 purchase-money bridge loan for the acquisition of a luxury single-family property near San Antonio, Texas. The 6-month facility was structured at approximately 69% LTV against a $2,664,750 underwritten value, reflecting sizing consistent with a softening local luxury housing market. The sponsor’s experience helped offset market-related risk associated with the higher-end asset class involved in the purchase. The borrower’s real estate experience and Stormfield’s ability to move quickly on a purchase-money transaction supported a lending decision consistent with a disciplined approach to residential acquisition financing in this submarket.
